The Museum, placed in the central building of the fortress, is divided into four exhibition halls, remodeling in 1997, which provide a complete and innovative description of landscape lunigianese, focusing the attention of the visitor on the relationship between human activities of agro-forestry pastoral civilizations and natural resources.
A guided tour, consists of panels with significant iconography and enriched by finds, calls to read a region of extremely important natural and environmental resources, transformed and diversified by man for millennia.
The monumental complex of the fortress, run by the Cooperative Natour, provides an important starting point of approach and depth of topics historical and architectural and naturalistic. The Cooperative Natour offers booking of guide services for adults and school children – articulated differently depending on the needs of the group – the Museum, the fortress, the botanical walk.
You can also enjoy services guide for the Castle Malgrate, the Ethnographic Museum of Lunigiana, nature guides for the island Palmaria and paths of the Cinqueterre.

The Cooperative Natour also carries historical and environmental education activities for schools, primary and secondary, with thematic modules consist of class meetings, workshops and exits on the field, specially tailored to the needs of the classes involved.
During the summer and Christmas the Cooperative Natour carries fun recreational and educational activities for children living in Aulla, followed by specialized operators.
